 note = {Since it could hardly be said that sufficient studies on hairstyle have been done in the field of social psychology, basic
research on hairstyle is considered to be required. In this study, we conducted a research on hairstyle of female university
students to investigate the relationship between their preferences on hairstyle, personalities, and values. Consequently, we
found that they preferred unlayered, long hair with bangs and that most of them actually had such a hairstyle. Since it was
suggested that their preferences on hairstyle was affected by bangs, layers, and hair length, we examined the difference
between their personalities caused by these differences and their values. As a result, we found that part of their personalities
and values differed depending on their hairstyle of bangs, layers, and hair length.},
