Accordingly, the objective of this study was to capture characteristics of \nexecutives’ leadership behaviors at a research department with the framework of transformational leadership(Bass, 1985)and examined the effects of leadership behaviors on group enhancement and individual commitment. 102 managers at a corporate research center were selected for this study. Among charismatic leadership, encouraging leadership, and consideration leadership, the data showed that consideration leadership had a direct influence on commitment and team enhancement. Statistical significance\nwas found between leadership style at the research center and individual commitment \nand team enhancement, an effective leadership style of executives at a research center was inferred.
