Metacognitive Awareness Inventory is formed 52 items that Schraw and Dennison (1994) composed to measure Metacognition. Metacognitive Awareness Inventory was investigated about 246 undergraduate students, and the factor analysis was done. Exploratory factor analysis of these items indicated that there were three factors: Monitoring, Control and Metacognitive knowledge. Because those factors had shown a moderate positive correlation, Metacognition was assumed as second-order factor. This second-order factor model was examined using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The fitness of this model was as follows, GFI=.865, AGFI=.842, RMSEA=.048. The results of examinations of internal consistency (Cronbach's α was .749 to .788 for each factor) showed high reliability of this scale. These results indicated that reliability and factorial validity of the Adults' Metacognition Scale.}, pages = {23--34}, title = {成人用メタ認知尺度の作成の試み : Metacognitive Awareness Inventory を用いて}, volume = {1}, year = {2010} }
