Eight domestic documents and three foreign documents\nrelated to patient satisfaction scales for nursing care were examined. As social interest in medical care has\nincreased, large-scale surveys on improving the quality of medical care have been conducted in the United\nStates and Japan. These surveys indicate that nurses rank first among the factors influencing patient\nsatisfaction of hospital care.
