When the age of a reform release came, they enter into an aliance with foreign capitals about the complete car production in the first half of the 1980's. Beijin Automotive Industry enter with Chrysler in 1983, Tianjin Automotive Industry enter with Daihatsu Motor in 1994, and Shanghai Automotive Industry enter with VW in 1985. Then, FAW and DMC got in the latter half of the 80's, too. And government decided the automobile industry raising plan by the minor big enterprise, and the mass production system of the car started it in 1990. As the result, the production number in 2000 was 2,068,186 cars, and about 4 times of the car production number in 1990 came to be produced. Most for that increase was passenger cars, and the rest was buses and commercial cars. But, the number of the automobile industry enterprises decreases from 2,596 to 2,326 gradually, and the parts industry of the western inland areas specially decreases to them. Especialy, the assembl industry decreased from 134 to 118. Although generally they were small-scale, the two poles differentiated to the large-scale enterprise and the smaller-scale thing of a small number. It was wide from the eastern coastal area, and the distribution of the Chinese automobile industry was concerning dispersion to the western inland area so far by the history of the preceding industry and the promotion of the socialist economy. Car production increased in the center of the specific big enterprise in the 1990's, and parts industry increased in the area around the big enterprise a little. But, the regional structure of the industry what product the truck mainly in whole country dispersion didn't change greatly. The product market structure of the whole country supply which moved a big enterprise to the center and the parts supply structure of the big enterprise circumference area were held to, and the formation of the corporate group progressed all the more on it. In other words, as for the 1990's, there was no big change with the regional structure of the production, and only a gap between the enterprises and the groups opened greatly, and economic structure changed.
