| 内容記述 | ブナ科の「クリ属」に属するクリの食用生産地は，今日，世界の大部分が温帯ユーラシアの東部（東アジア）と西部（地中海北部地域を主としたヨーロッパ）に分布する．本稿では世界におけるクリ生産の動向について，最近50 年間の統計を整理し，時間的および空間的な変化の方向性を明らかにするとともに，クリ生産を規定してきた社会経済的な背景について理解するため，先学による研究成果にもとづき全体的な考察を試みた．ヨーロッパについてはイタリアと南フランスの状況について紹介した成果を収録し，また東アジアについては韓国と中国の状況について文献および現地調査にもとづき検討した． | |||||

| 内容記述 | Chestnut belongs to the Castanea genus of the Fagaceae family. The global production of edible chestnut since the 1900s mostly remains in East Asia and mediterranean Europe. Statistical production and time-space trends in both regions are analysed for the last 50 years. Overall production decreased in the European countries and increased in East Asian countries. China’s fast increase is noteworthy after the 1990s, other countries are stagnant. To elucidate a unifi ed socioeconomic background, typical examples of Italy and the south of France were introduced, together with the situation of Korea and China, including trade relations between Korea, China and Japan. | |||||
