In accordance with the result, the classification of the periods regarding the process of the formation of asight-seeing area and also the general survey on the distinctive feature in each period have been conducted. The results are to be summarized as in the following : (1) The 1st Term (Until the beginning of The Era of Meiji, 1868) : It was a term for organizing an area as spa treatment. Though spa had already been in existence in the modern ages, it took a strong character as spa treatment chiefly for the classes of the local farmers and inhabitants. Therefore, it is still hard to conclude definitely that their hotel business was organized in those days. (2) The 2nd Term (From the beginning of The Era of Meiji, 1868 to the end of The Era of Taisho, 1925) : It was a term to grow it into a spa area. At the beginning of The Era of Meiji, 1868, a joint spa and also a new road of Yumura were developed and completely provided. Taking this good opportunity, they organized more than ten hotels around their joint spa ; however, until the end of The Era of Taisho, 1925, the number of their hotels had not been increased at all; and a paralysis of their hotel business had been continued. And besides, they had been depending upon their agricultural works so strongly that the formation of their industry was nothing but a continuation of the character of their spa. (3) The 3rd Term (From the end of The Era of Taisho, 1925 to around the year of 1950) : It was a term for organizing a sight-seeing area. On this occasion, excavation of a new headspring was conducted and also it was recognized that the number of their hotels had been increased. The advance of not only the capital invested in the area by the local people but also the other capital by the Kofu-people into their enterprises was conducted, and the extent of their spa settlements was expanded. However, their own joint spa was dried up owing to their confusing and disorderly excavation of a new headspring in the area. Their own customers were willing to visit Spa Yumura for their spa treatment as in the past. On the other hand, the number of vacationists at Spa Yumura was increased. After all, the transfer from a spa treatment area to a tourist area was realized on a large scale. (4) The 4th Term (From around the year of 1950 downward) : It was a term for their prosperity, and the development of their tourist industry was carried out in succession from the 3rd term mentioned above. The operation of their hotels at the area was their main strength, and the advance of the capital from Kofu into their hotel business was conducted. However, the advance of the local capital into their hotel business had predominated over all other non-local ones. The appearance of Spa Isawa in the same prefecture caused a paralysis of trade at Spa Yumura of late years. However, all the incidental facilities, revolving around their hotel business were steadily provided with necessaries. Therefore, it is studied that the switchover of their hotels to an advanced sight-seeing area, or a city for tourists by means of laying emphasis on a characteristic of their historic interest in Spa Yumura must be realized.", "subitem_description_type": "Abstract"}]}, "item_4_description_5": {"attribute_name": "内容記述", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"subitem_description": "短報", "subitem_description_type": "Other"}, {"subitem_description": "SHORT ARTICLES", "subitem_description_type": "Other"}]}, "item_4_publisher_35": {"attribute_name": "出版者", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"subitem_publisher": "立正地理学会"}]}, "item_4_source_id_9": {"attribute_name": "ISSN", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"subitem_source_identifier": "03896641", "subitem_source_identifier_type": "ISSN"}]}, "item_4_text_8": {"attribute_name": "通巻号", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"subitem_text_value": "28"}]}, "item_4_version_type_18": {"attribute_name": "著者版フラグ", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"subitem_version_resource": "http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85", "subitem_version_type": "VoR"}]}, "item_creator": {"attribute_name": "著者", "attribute_type": "creator", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"creatorNames": [{"creatorName": "浦, 達雄"}], "nameIdentifiers": [{"nameIdentifier": "10462", "nameIdentifierScheme": "WEKO"}]}, {"creatorNames": [{"creatorName": "URA, Tatsuo", "creatorNameLang": "en"}], "nameIdentifiers": [{"nameIdentifier": "10463", "nameIdentifierScheme": "WEKO"}]}]}, "item_files": {"attribute_name": "ファイル情報", "attribute_type": "file", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"accessrole": "open_date", "date": [{"dateType": "Available", "dateValue": "2022-02-22"}], "displaytype": "detail", "download_preview_message": "", "file_order": 0, "filename": "RS019-2.22-32.甲府市湯村における温泉観光地の形成過程.pdf", "filesize": [{"value": "6.4 MB"}], "format": "application/pdf", "future_date_message": "", "is_thumbnail": false, "licensetype": "license_free", "mimetype": "application/pdf", "size": 6400000.0, "url": {"label": "RS019-2.22-32.甲府市湯村における温泉観光地の形成過程.pdf", "url": "https://rissho.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/9593/files/RS019-2.22-32.甲府市湯村における温泉観光地の形成過程.pdf"}, "version_id": "f3c382c6-40d6-4099-9adf-91ac3d265b3b"}]}, "item_language": {"attribute_name": "言語", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"subitem_language": "jpn"}]}, "item_resource_type": {"attribute_name": "資源タイプ", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"resourcetype": "departmental bulletin paper", "resourceuri": "http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]}, "item_title": "甲府市湯村における温泉観光地の形成過程", "item_titles": {"attribute_name": "タイトル", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"subitem_title": "甲府市湯村における温泉観光地の形成過程"}, {"subitem_title": "The Formation of a Spa-Sightseeing Area at Yumura, Kofu City", "subitem_title_language": "en"}]}, "item_type_id": "4", "owner": "1", "path": ["834"], "permalink_uri": "http://hdl.handle.net/11266/00010554", "pubdate": {"attribute_name": "公開日", "attribute_value": "2022-02-22"}, "publish_date": "2022-02-22", "publish_status": "0", "recid": "9593", "relation": {}, "relation_version_is_last": true, "title": ["甲府市湯村における温泉観光地の形成過程"], "weko_shared_id": 1}

内容記述 | This report is to reveal the actual state of a spa-sight-seeing area at Yumura, Kofu City; especially, to give a detailed account of the specific character of the capital invested in the tourist trade at the area by means of making exhaustive investigation on the existing hotel business at the area.
