| 内容記述 | I. Object To investigate the city plan from the view of the welfare city, which is the goal of Akita city. II. Methods 1) Choronologically analysis of the city plan of Akita city. 2) Analysis of the regional structure in relation to the present developing situation of Akita city, especially from the point of welfare functions. III. Major Findings The main functions of the regional structure to serve for the welfare city are as follows : 1) The Prefectural Government and the City Office are located very near each other, and they work very effectively. 2) The developing plan of commercial districts has been considered from two angles ; an up-to-date arrangement and service for citizens. The urban traffic problem has ipmroved and become more convenient than before. 3) The green park districts are designed by taking account of comfortableness and historical elements. Many cultural assets are shown in historical Akita city. Besides, the green park districts separate the residential area and the town from the industrial area, and protect them from pollution. 4) The industrial area is the life of the new Akita industrial city as well as the center of productive activities of Akita Prefecture. 5) The city plan should be carried out over a long period of time. | |||||
