| 内容記述 | Social inclusion of former inmates is required to prevent their reoffending. From this aspect, this article focused on the correlational ties between correctional facility and community as one of the important factors for direct and indirect“ contact”（ Allport, 1954） and discussed the significance of a contact with respect to the social inclusion of former inmates. In this study, I have examined the case of the correctional system of CSC （Correctional Service Canada） which successfully expanded the relationship of the correctional facility and its neighboring community. Based on their documents open to the public, I have studied their facets and analyzed the implication of their alliance（ linkage） program for the promotion of social inclusion. In closing, I discussed the strategic direction to prevent reoffending in Japan. |

| 内容記述 | 再犯防止の推進には、社会が出所者を社会的に包摂していくことが求められる。本稿は刑務所と地域 の連携を、直接的・間接的な「接触」（Allport, 1954）の重要な要因として注目し、接触の意味を出所者 の社会的包摂の視点から論考した。本稿では、刑務所と地域（コミュニティ）の連携が進むカナダ連邦 刑務所（CSC: Correctional Service Canada）の矯正システムを検討した。またポリシーに関する公的資 料をもとに彼らの視点を整理し、社会的包摂促進のための連携の意味を分析した。最後に、日本での再 犯防止に向けた今後の方向について論考した。 |
